Hello doctor. I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My tsh was 6.99. TPO antibodies are negative. Will I eventually get goitre? Does hypothyroidism cause thyroid swelling?

Untreated Hypothyroidism can lead to goiter in long term. Consult Endocrinologist and maintain your TSH under control to prevent complications.
Next Steps
Consult Endocrinologist.

Don’t worry in your case it is not Goitre .Most of the goitre is caused by iodine deficiency for not consuming iodine salt. Now start on initial treatment with Thyroxine. For details consult me on Practo.
