I have a hypertrophic scar below my collar bone area and it has been there for more than 4 years now. Recently I have been noticing that it is increasing in its width and I am not too sure if that is supposed to happen or not. My doctor recommended me to get it injected but I am not too sure if that can turn out to be dangerous. I really want to get rid off this scar. I am attaching a picture too for reference.
