Hydronephrosis with urine infection

My 5 months son has urine infection (full field pus cells with 3+ albuminuria) and ultrasound has hydronephrosis of one kidney, one kidney is normal. After starting antibiotic for one week, now child is having 4-5 pus cells but protein is still 3+. Pls tell why protein is not getting better. Thanks

Hi Protienuria can be due to many reasons. Persisting proteinuria after treatment of UTI could be renal loss. Need more details. @Kidneydoctorrr (IG)
