Humming sound in ear
Due to the pandemic my husband is working from home and these days he is using headphones to a very large extent and from past week he is having humming kind of sound in ear.
Can you please suggest me few home remedies for this problem.

Hello, Before I explain one point needs clarification on whether he feels blocked in ears? Anyways the humming sound can be due to use of headphones and also if he has a block of eustacian tube(the tube conneting ear and nose). The solution is firstly ask him to use laptop speaker and for tube block see tips below. If its still persisting see doctor locally for doing some ear tests

It may be because of too long time usr of headphones. Please tell them not to use headphones but they can use speaker of mobile to talk. You can give tham Tab. NEUROBION FORT , Once a day for 15 days.

The condition what he is suffering is called Tinnitus.
It can be due to Middle ear infection, External ear impacted wax, Eustachian tube blockage due to cold, Nerve weakness or damage due to excessive exposure to loud noise for long duration or very rarely due to blood vessels related.
There's no home remedy for it.
Don't perform Valsalva maneuver, it can increase the problem if patient has infection in the ear.
Consult a ENT specialist for better understanding and treatment.
