Gardasil is a mixture of L1 proteins of HPV serotypes 16, 18, 6 and 11. This confers protection against both cervical neoplasia as well as genital warts. While its indicated in patients who are immunosuppressed or of young age to take it beforehand, it's been proven beneficial against recalcitrant and recurrent warts plantar or palmar.
