Hello, continue breastfeeding on demand .each feed should be ..for 15-20 mins..alternating from each side.if adequate breast feeding is there baby should go to sleep after feeding.also monitor baby urine output-at least 6- 8 times and weight of the baby. Also mother should take well balanced diet ,lots of water ,iron and calcium supplements ..for adequate milk production

Dear parents, All babies are born with rooting and sucking reflex and this remains for 4 months Rooting reflex=Baby turn his mouth if any thing is touch around his mouth for search of nipple. May be you have Given feed. That doesn't mean he is hungry. Sucking reflex=if any thing touch his palate he started sucking. So just Feed Baby every 2hrlyin day and from 10pm to 6am on demand. After feeding put the Baby on left shoulder and pat just behind the stomach for 5 minutes. Baby burps 3to5 Times.
