I have noticed a small patch which is red color on both sides of the tongue. It's near the area to the back molars, which is the end of the tongue. I noticed this ten months ago and still having this. It's the same size and to describe how it looks, it looks like the skin of the tongue is peeled and look like patches. It's red in color on both the sides. It burns. So I avoid hot foods completely. It's been the same since March 202. I saw a dentist last year for this, but he said it will be back to normal soon. I saw him on March 2023. Didn't prescribe any medicines to me. It's the same patches until now and painful. to see ENT or OMFS doctor? I am scared and getting anxious. Does it mean cancer since I have it more than an year? To get the biopsy, will they remove the patch? Or remove the bump? It's like skin is peeled on the top of tongue. How to get biopsy? And big bump on the side of the tongue. If it present more than an year, does it mean cancerous ? Same redness on tongue.
