I am a 30 year old male, in sitting job, obese. I have gradually developed numbness in my left leg below the knee since the last 2 months It started from my foot upwards. What could be the cause of this numbness and what should be done for it? Will this keep increasing?

hi..Numbness is most often caused by damage, irritation or compression of nerves. A single nerve branch, or several nerves,Certain diseases, such as diabetes, which can damage the longest, most sensitive nerve fibers (such as those going to your feet), can also cause numbness. I would advise that you get your sugar levels, thyroid and ur vitamins checked and consult a physician who after reviewing the reports well advise u on the best course of treatment
