1. Reduce your weight, if you are overweight.
2. Stop smoking and taking tobacco products, if you are taking one.
3. Don't sleep immediately after a meal, keep a gap of at least 2 hours between your last meal and sleep.
4. Cut your tea or soft drink intake.
5. If the above measures fails, then please see a local gastroenterologist and get and endoscopy done.
