Are you taking the contraceptive pills from day one of the periods without skipping any tablet in between?
if yes then you cannot be pregnant and you don't need the pregnancy test
if no pregnancy test can be done 24 hours after a skipped period

Pregnancy test is done after the period date is missed.you can do either beta HCG test or urine pregnancy test
