45/f,underwent hysterectomy 2 years back, since then having symptoms like feeling warm and breathless and sweating ,using premarin 0.625 mg since a month as suggested by doctor but still symptoms haven't subsided completely, Any alternative medicines or only dose need to be increased as suggested by my Dr?

It might be due to the surgical menopause you had due to hysterectomy.body will get adjusted slowly.i think you continue the same dosage and do the lifestyle change like cotton clothes,plenty of fluids and natural source of estrogen .then if required u can increase but with a guidance from your doc

Premarin should be given at minimum dose for a short period. U can take natural source of estrogen like Isoflavones .Symptoms will slowly resolve

Hello, You are on right .medicine, but continue for few more weeks before increasing the dose. Meanwhile supportive measures like, wearing light coloured cotton clothes, stay in cool rooms, take cold showers, keep away from hot beverages. Hope this helps Thank you.

Hi. You can take it for 3 months and then increase the dose if required . Stop hot liquids . Drink more water .
