What is the solution,if there is a hole in the ear ? My mother met the ENT specialist, he said that there is a hole in the ear, surgery is required. What happens if surgery is not done?

1. You cannot hear properly. 2. Infection can enter through ear and even migrate to brain and could kill you! It happened to my Surgery Professor who died of Otogenic Meningoencephalitis!
