Ear drum hole is of two types- safe and unsafe...for safe type you can get it operate once the ear is dry for minimum of 6weeks duration,and unsafe type is an urgency as it may lead to various complications hence requires immediate surgery...now on examination only doctor can tell you if it's safe or unsafe type... likewise cost will be respectively...hope this helps you
