Hi, We are planning to conceive. My wife tsh is 5.75 ans she is taking thyrox 12.5 mcg per day. Do we need to increase thyrox dosage to get tsh down to normal level. Please reply

Yes dose needs to be increased Tsh whn planning pregnancy should be less than 2.5

You need a higher dose. Level should be below 2.5 if planning for baby ..
