My mother is suffering from asthma and is currently on steroid medicine for the same. She was hospitalised 1 month back due to severe asthma attack. After hospitalisation, her TLC is constantly around 25k(all other CBC parameters are within range). She has no fever and any other signs of infection. (She feels tiredness though). Her PCT is below 0.5 (at 0.05). What could be the reasons of such high TLC without any infection symptoms.
