High SGPT & Gall Surgery

My SGPT went from 100 to 1200 within a week due to jaundice caused by CBD stone. It was cleared with ERCP. After 3 days it is still 1000. How long it will take to come normal ? Can gall surgery be done before it gets in normal range ?

It should  come down after ERCP. You should  do ultrasound , S. amylase , S.lipase . Gall bladder surgery  should  be done only if enzymes shows significant decreasing  trend. There should  not be pancreatitis.
