High Prolactin (44), High TSH (5.2)

2022-08-06 07:05:54
I have high Prolactin and subclinical hypothyroidism according to the report. My menstruation is regular although heavy and painful. My symptoms are fatigue, low sex drive (which used to be incredibly high), and depression. I also have some skin issues - acne and darkening of skin on face, neck, underarms etc. Are my skin issues connected with the imbalance? Do I need to take medication to correct this? I already have a very healthy lifestyle - working out everyday, very healthy vegan diet, no sugar or dairy. But I am a working woman so quite often under massive stress which I cannot help. Thanks in advance.

You should take treatment for Hyperprolactinemia and Hypothyroidism. Hyperprolactinemia treatment may be stopped after 1-2 months but treatment for Hypothyroidism will continue for some time.
