I have multiple chronic medical conditions. I am scheduled to get surgery this month and had labs done as part of pre op it showed high potassium levels (5.5 to be exact). It was concerning enougj to where repeat labs are being done a week before the scheduled surgery and they have told me it is possible surgery may be canceled. I am NJ tube fed due to gastroparesis stemming from my genetic issues and am fed 4-5 cans of Osmolite 1.5 a day
