Hello, My mother is 80 years old. She has been having high level of platelets since last two months. The reading 15 days back was around 850000. Around 4-5 days back when her CBC was done, it came down to around 650000. We plan to get her CBC done after 2-3 days. My question is, do we need to consult a hematologist ? or we can wait for some more time to see if the platelets comes down to normal?
