High level of alkaline phosphatase

I have tested for LFT and my alkaline phosphatase is high 150.4U/L. Rest all values are ok.I want to know about problems related this. Is any serious problem by this or just normal like only diet problem. I've delivered 1 month back .

High alkaline phosphatase without any symptoms or other values normal is one of the possibility. We can do USG abdomen and pelvis to rule out cholelithiasis .

Elevated alkaline phosphatase can have various causes including cbd stones, some bone related pathologies, and sometimes no cause is identifiable. Its SIGNIFICANCE depends on SYMPTOMS, other test reports etc. If no cause is identified dietery changes can help recover.
