My son's age is 2.9.. he's having fever and cold since yesterday..I gave P 250 syrup for 3 times every 6 hours..after giving syrup fever getting down..then it increases..nw he have 101.0 Can u pls suggest...

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult.  If child is otherwise active and taking feeds well  wait and watch for any more different symptoms. And do continue  to give paracetamol  every 6 hours. If any more symptoms  visit Pediatrician..

Continue giving paracetamol for fever,repeat 4 hourly if required. Give steam inhalations for cold and cough. It's probably viral and will settle down in 3-7 days.
