The treatment should be symptomatic mainly. For fever paracetamol is the drug of choice. This may given 6 - 8 hourly. Must ensure sufficient intake of fluids orally. Tab cetrizine may be given once a day. But the treatment should be done under medical supervision. Other causes of fever should also be considered. Monitoring of fever and blood pressure is also important.
