High ESR level
Hi there
My mom is having high ESR level. in the recent test ,ESR level was 45 .her age is approx 43 years. She is also having pain in the throat. We went to an ENT specialist earlier ,at that time her ESR level was 36 ..he prescribed defza 6mg tablets for 10 days(twice a day) and she got relief from throat pain while she was taking that medicine but as stopped taking it ,pain again started.and yesterday we did her ESR test that ,and level is rised from 36 to 45..I am so worried about her health. Please help us
Please stop Defza as it is nothing but steroid and should not be taken for long time. It can cause very many adverse effects and swelling on face and legs. Take Tab. Zerodol-SP 1 tab daily 2 times a day for 5 days. Tab. Azithral 500 1 tab daily once for 3 days. Tab Pantocid 40 mg 1 tablet daily empty stomach for 5 days. Gargle with chlorhexidine mouthwash 2 times a day or simply use salt and warm water. But do gargle.
