High direct bilirubin

Hello doctor. I just got routine blood tests done and in my lft report direct bilirubin is slightly high. Total bilirubin 1.0 Direct bilirubin 0.3 Indirect bilirubin 0.7 SGPT 19.8 SGOT 22 ALL OTHER LIVER ENZYMES ARE NORMAL. IS MY LIVER FAILING? I'M HAVING TERRIBLE ANXIETY.

A direct bilirubin on 0.3 is normal. You do not have to worry that your liver is failing. If there are any other symptoms you are experiencing please consult me directly.

Even slightly high direct bilirubin is not normal, it does indicate some liver problem, you can repeat the tests after 3 weeks & till then do strict diet control
