My husband has high blood pressure and is taking 5 mg amlodipine generic medicine once a day. He has started generic medicine 1 month back. Earlier he was taking amlodec 5 mg once a day for past few years. Today when we checked the blood pressure in the evening after 2-3 months it is 147/ 105. Only change in his activities in past 2-3 days are that he has joined Gym. Today he did not go to gym as he was having muscles pain due to exercise done in past few days. Could you please recommend right medicine and dose for high BP and suggest whether he should continue his GYM exercise or not.
