High Blood Pressure

Hi Doctor, i am aged 37, weight around 85 KG, height 5'9. Over last 2-3 years, due to various tension, resulted in blood pressure. The avg blood pressure for last 6 months is 150/95. Chlestrol 200 mg/dl, Triglyceride 236, LDLCholestrol 133. Doctor gave Telma 40 mg - alternate days & Tonact. If i have Telma the avg pressure comes to around 125/80. But i heard Telma have beta blockers, impacts sexual strength, & erectile dysfunction. Earlier i already suffered erectile dysfunction. Pls suggest

Also you require cholesterol lowering medicines probably, you have increased cardiac risk. May have to start medicine for cholesterol after proper risk evaluation and consultation woth your doctor.

Telma is telmisaran, ARB group not beta blocker , need to take telma daily, it does not cause erectile dysfunction.Reduce weight, daily 30 min. Brisk walk. No junk food, airated drinks
