High blood from last Saturday
Hello Doctor,
I am kidney transplanted patient. My age is 30 /M it has been 8 years to my transplant. I did my Tacrolimus test and level was 7.97 on 1.5 mg panoramic and my dose was reduced to 1.25bd after 18 days know from last Saturday I noticed my body high suddenly
I monitored it and it remains 140/86, 139/86, 134/90 . I did LFTI test it's good and USG it is also normal. As I am feeling my head and neck heavy and paining. What happened to me suddenly. Before some time I was taking amlong 5 my bd but it cause me swelling on face latter it was stopped and envas 5 mg was started. But suddenly I feel pain and headache and found my BP is high. Why and what should I do. Please answer thank you
Well, you check your tac levels once more after 2/3 days of change in Tacrolimus dose, usually increase in blood pressure will be there when Tacrolimus dose is increased, you may be get transplant renal artery stenosis, which usually gets precipitated by change in antihypertensives, like Envas.
