High amniotic fluid level

My wife went for a growth scan yesterday (16july) as suggested  by gynecologist and she has diagnosed with upper border line amniotic fluid 17.6 cm at gestational age of 30th week. Her 7 month will be completed on 21 July. Nipt screen negative Level 2 scan normal with a echogenic focii in left ventricle of heart which was performed on 10may at 20 week of gestational age and during level 2 scan liquor was 4.73 cm mvp. Gct 145 at 26th june Fbs 88 and pp 99 at 29june Fbs 73 and pp 83 at 12july Can anyone please tell reason for this high amniotic fluid and is this something alarming ?? Kindly revert as I m too much worried.

Hope your level 2 scan was done from a good ultrasound centre. Afi 17.5 is not too high.. Keep monitoring your blood sugar.. Get HbA1c test done. Rest be in touch with your doctor.Be active and do antenatal exercises after consulting your dovtor to keep weight under control.
