I spoke to u on 11 jun regarding my son’s hiccups. our familyDr. prescribed Rantac for 2-3 days. after taking medicine he got well. but today again hiccups started. I m not able to understand the reason. We cant give him medicine so frequently. Plzz advise.

The basic cause of hiccups is air filling the stomach. If your child is an infant,regular gaps between feeds and burping for atleast 10 mins will help.
