suppressive therapy is when you have more than 3 outbreaks in 6 months or more than 6 outbreak in a year. 200mg will do nothing. suppressive therapy should be done with 400 mg twice a day for 2 years in my professional opinion . Now before starting such a long term treatment , proper examination and confirmation of the condition is paramount. Also certain blood test would be required for baseline evaluation before starting the treatment for such a long time. Hope this is helpful.
