If you have disc bulges and compression on MRI and symptoms which relate to the nerve.which supplies that area, then surgical decompression should be considered. You also have weakness and numbness, which all point to pressure in the nerve.
The procedure which is recommended in such cases is Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion (ACDF).
Please visit an Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon for discussing the risks and benefits of surgery. Any other procedures may give temporary relief but will not relieve the weakness or numbness. Neck pain may not get better.
Similarly decompression may be needed.for the lumbar spine.
Hope this helps.
