I have a broken heat boil in armpit which is draining and it hurts.i have been using povidine iodine for two days but no change is seen..It still hurts.Is it advisable to use washproof bandage over it

TX – • Dicloxacillin 125-500mg PO Q6h x 7 days Incision and Drainage: Drape, sterile environement. Clean area w/ alcohol, betadine. Inject lidocaine w/ epi. Cut w/ scalpel. Drain pus and sac. Explore. Irrigate. Suture, internal (4.0 polysorb), external 5.0. Abx, bandage. RTC 1 wk suture removal.
