Heartrate down by 10 bpm without workout

Hi Doctor, I am male 38 years old and a software employee. I use to have resting heart rate between 60-65 bpm (checking after waking up everyday). I do weight training 5 days a week for chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, legs (one part everyday) since last 2 years. But i stopped going to Gym after lockdown due coronavirus since last 2 months. Now my resting heart rate came to 50-55 bpm (checking after waking up everyday). Not sure why it came down with a difference of 10 bpm when i am not doing any workouts. Should i need to worry? Please suggest! Thank you, Prasad

Need not worry. Exercise trained individual are bound to have low heart rates. As long as you are asymptomatic dont worry. But get your thyroid profile done.

Hello, Nothing to worry. You have a high vagal tone so your heart rate is bound to be low. If you are having no symptoms then forget about it. It keep varying day to day. Take care
