44 year old adult male has borderline bp (145/82) on average ,is currently having high triglycerides level of 368 and recently found mild left ventricular hypertrophy in his 2d echo report.He is not taking medicine for bp yet.He also has strong family history of cardiac arrest with his father dying at 45 years of age due to it.Kindly suggest the lifestyle changes needed and if possible safest diuretic bp pills names

Changes of left ventricular hypertrophy suggest that BP must be high enough to cause such changes. So better to start some medicine for the same. Daily 30 min jogging and low salt diet are the basic form of lifestyle changes which will help him

First of all get urself evaluated thoroughly, dont take chances and dont do self medication here. Strict control of BP is required Strict control of lipid profile( triglyceride are high) Absolutely no tobacco consumption Daily excercise for 30 mins, avoud weight lifting DO GET A TMT TEST DONEto document any possible blockages in heart
