Hello doctors, my daughter is 11 months old. When she screaming, her head temperature is getting increased to 100+ F. But her body temperature is normal. Till she starts screaming, her head temperature also normal. Once she sleeps, she is getting sweat and head temperature becomes less. What is this problem? Is it normal for the 1y old kids? How to control her screaming.

If you are worried about your baby sweating constantly, it may help to know that this is a normal process, which may last until he is about four years old. Sweating on the head, especially during sleep, is very common in children. Sweating in the palms and soles is also common during stressful situations

If temperature is high, go for tepid sponging and syrup paracetamol. This would decrease her irritability, for better assessment, please do consult.
