Having cough from last 1 months

My wife is having cough from last one month ..doctor told me to go for an X-ray of chest ..they find some granules in the chest..he told me that there is a chance of infection or cancer also ..tB test conducted and it's negative ..please help me out

Is fever associated with that ? If yes sputum culture and sensitivity test is recommended. Cancer is suspected when other thing are ruled out.
