Having cough and sputum after food

I am having coughing and sputum after food . though coughing stop after sometimes but sputum from throat is all day. Did chest xray,but reports were ok. From last 2 days having chest burn also. What could be the reason for this? Sputum with coughing is for 2 weeks. Anything serious to worry about? As adviced by dr. Medication of doxyday and allegra is goin on with grillinctus syrup.

Looks like you are having GERD gastro-oesophageal reflux disease... a proper medication of antacids and avoiding coffee would help ....a detailed history is needed
