Your condition will flareup multiple symptoms. Hence the diet & medication may be different at different times. So, I will recommend you to consult both Endocrinologist & a dietician time-to-time in person.

• Take Eltroxin early morning empty stomach with water, no tea / coffee / milk / calcium / iron for 45 to 60 min. • Balanced plate: 1/2 veg, 1/4 whole grain - jowar, ragi, brown rice, oats, 1/4 dal / egg / fish / chicken / curd. • Protein: 70 to 80g per day - important for muscle and fatigue. • Fats for triglycerides: less fried, ghee, dalda, sweets. More mustard oil / groundnut oil limited, nuts 1 handful, fatty fish 2 times a week, flaxseed 1 tsp. • Selenium and iodine: 1 egg, fish, dairy, iodized salt normal amount, not excess. • Fiber 25 to 30g - greens, fruits like guava, papaya, apple, whole pulses. • Water 2.5 L, walk 30 min + strength 3 days, sleep 7 to 8 hours, limit alcohol.
Next Steps
Check with doctor: Recent TSH, T3, T4, lipid, vitamin D, B12, fasting sugar, HbA1c, BP. ED and persistent fatigue need medical evaluation, not only diet. Share your recent labs and veg / non veg preference if you want more specific plan.

Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis + Sedentary Lifestyle: * Eat high-protein foods at every meal (eggs, dal, paneer, tofu, chicken, fish). * Choose whole grains (oats, wheat, jowar, bajra, brown rice) over refined flour. * Eat 2–3 servings of vegetables and 1–2 fruits daily. * Include healthy fats (nuts, seeds, olive/mustard oil). * Use iodized salt in moderation. * Ensure enough selenium, zinc, iron, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 (through diet or supplements if prescribed). * Limit sugary foods, fried foods, processed foods, and soft drinks. * Drink 2–2.5 L of water daily. * Take thyroid medicine on an empty stomach; keep iron and calcium supplements 4 hours apart from the medication. * Aim for 30–45 minutes of walking and 2–3 strength-training sessions per week if possible. * Sleep 7–9 hours and manage stress with yoga or meditation.

At 6 feet and 78 kg, your weight is within a healthy range, so the primary focus should be on improving metabolic health, reducing inflammation, preserving muscle mass, and supporting hormonal health, rather than weight loss. General recommendations: ●Aim for 20–30 g of high-quality protein at each main meal (eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, tofu, Greek yogurt, dals, soy). ●Include healthy fats such as walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, chia seeds, and omega-3-rich fish 2–3 times per week. ●Choose high-fiber carbohydrates (oats, millets, brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat, legumes) and reduce refined sugars, sweets, sweetened beverages, and excess alcohol to help lower triglycerides. ●Eat plenty of colorful vegetables and 1–2 servings of fruit daily to increase antioxidant intake. ●Stay well hydrated and aim for 7–8 hours of quality sleep, as both significantly affect energy levels and hormone health. ●Even with a desk job, try to include 30–45 minutes of brisk walking and 2–3 sessions of resistance training each week to improve muscle strength, insulin sensitivity, and testosterone function.
Next Steps
A personalized nutrition plan based on your blood reports, dietary habits, and daily routine would be the most effective approach.
Health Tips
I would also recommend the need to evaluate Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, ferritin/iron status, HbA1c, lipid profile, liver function, testosterone (total and free), SHBG, and thyroid profile (TSH, Free T4, Free T3). Deficiencies or hormonal imbalances can contribute to fatigue, reduced muscle strength, and erectile dysfunction.
