In our relative girl whose age is 24 years. She is having the nail problem. Almost in hand nail is not available. Is it possible to implant the nail and if yes than thereafter than is the nail issue will be resolved permantly? It is highly appreciable if you can guide best doctor/ hospital in Mumbai or pune locality.

Hi. Greetings. This may be due to congenital condition of nail loss / absence. Artificial nails can be " implanted" but they don't behave like normal natural nails and are for cosmetic cover only . really not aware of dermatologist in Mumbai who does this. Dr Govind Suresh Mittal
