Over a week ago I hit the tip of my pinky directly on a hard service. It hurt immediately, but then the pain subsided. About an hour later it felt sore and tender. The pain has gotten worse ever since. The pain is on the side of my palm and base of the pinky finger. It's hard to grab or tear things with that hand. I guess the pain not being on the finger itself is kind of throwing me off. I'd like a better idea of what is going on so I can know how to treat it.
