Hair loss and thinning

I am suffering from excessive hair loss. I consulted a renowned Ayurvedic doctor. He said I have excessive pitta in my body causing hair fall. He prescribed some medication that lasted a month. But now that medicines are over, the problem has started again. And the doctor has retired. If I go to another doctor, they would obviously give me medicines again. Do I have to eat medicine all my life? Is there a permanent solution to this problem?

Subh Arogya, NO, you don't need medicines for your whole life....only till doshas in your body gets rectified. Please do continue with another ayurvedic doctor. Medicines are one part but diet is also an important part of the treatment. It may take some time for you to get completely healed.

Hair fall is due to so many reason off course in ayurvedic principle hair fall is due to excessive pitta dosh, this can be manage by diet restriction also but once required medicine for removing excess pitta from body. for this purpose two methods described in ayurveda one is shaman treatment like medicine regularly other is shodhan chikitsa in this includes Panchkarma therapy like snehan swedan and virechana Nasya is advisable in your case. some nutritional deficiency also causes hair loss like vitamin D3, Calcium and vitamin B12, so go for routin checkup also. plan for panchkarma treatment for complete cure otherwise only oral medication only controlled the hair fall until medicine taken. follow the diet restriction-- avoid fast foods cold drinks and spicy sour bitter item specially vinegour
