Growth on tip of left nipple

Hi i have about a 2mm skin growth on tip of my nipple. This isnt a symptom of cancer is it? I believe it is just a skin tag but not quite too sure. Its the same color as my nipple, and flappy. Recently noticed as the nipple started getting irritated from badges so started putting plaster over it. Could you tell me what it could be + how it came.
