Hi, my 11 month baby stool looks green since yesterday night (pooped 2 times since). He is eating some rice with veg and also formula milk. But no green vegitable eaten since few days. Is it due to some infection? He is not having any fever and playing normally. He had measles and related vaccines 5 days back.

Toddlers diarrhea where greenish undigested particles are passed is quite common among young kids. It is due to high sugar, high fibre or low fat diet. Avoid high sugar beverages or very sugary fruits for the time being. However Passing loose stools, more than thrice a day, foul smell, blood in stools or being dull or passing less urine is worrisome. If so do consult a pediatrician.
