If you are asymptomatic regarding liver disease and liver function tests are normal,  then you can start tab carbimazole in low dose, 15mg  daily. However if liver functions are deranged or you have symptoms,  discuss with your Dr. For option of Radio active iodine( RAI). You can likely go ahead with Neo-Mercazole, but start low, monitor closely, and stay in regular contact with your doctor. Your liver condition doesn’t absolutely rule it out it just means you need more careful monitoring
Next Steps
If you see dark urine or jaundice appear immediately stop carbimazole
Health Tips
Start with low dose 15-20mg/day
