If someone has diabetes and taking insulin before breakfast . So on the day of checking blood sugar ( fasting blood sugar and random blood sugar ) So  this diabetic person should take insulin before Fasting blood sugar test or not ?

The person needs to check the sugar levels n then can have breakfast. After two hours of meals again check the sugar levels. This you ll have both fasting n prandial levels with insulin dose. This will help to adjust the doses of insulin.
