My Mother is suffering from Glaucoma. Dr advised her to take Acetazolamide Na tablet 2-3x day. She has been using for 2 months. Now she is complaining about the red spots on her body. We stoped Acetazolamide Na, assuming the cause. Does use of Acetazolamide Na cause the red spots on whole skin?? needs opinion!

Hello This may or may not be due to acetazolamide. This is a sulpha drug and some people are allergic to sulpha salt. There is a possibility if allergic reaction to acetazolamide. Kindly consult local ophthalmologist
