Can slit lamp diagnosis glaucoma or cataract ? Hello sir my symptoms are: Eye pain, starburst vision , red eyes and watery eyes. I went to opthalmologist he just saw my eyes in slit lamp for a minute and sent me home.

Hello Slit lamp examination can identify cataract and glaucoma also with additional tools. Cataract does not cause pain, redness etc unless it is fully mature and cause lens induced glaucoma.
