Giving beat root to baby

Hi, My son is 7 + months old. We are giving ragi cereal,rice cereal,apple purie,ripe banana vegetable(carrot,pumpkin,raw banana,raw papaya) and moong dal. Could you please suggest if we can give beat root to him. If we are missing something in the food please advice. Thanks a lot in advance.
