Hello Doctor, My mom was diagnosed with Diabetes about a year ago, after that she has been developing skin pigmentation on her skin whether face , hands or legs. Also she needs to take a lot of precautions with her skin. What can she do to reduce pigmentation and take care of her skin ?

The skin pigmentation may or may not be related to diabetes. There are skin conditions that can develop in patients with diabetes. One needs to see the skin patches before making further comments. I suggest you take her either to a dermatologist or a diabetologist for further assessments.
