GERD FROM LAST 4 YEARS FEELING FOOD STUCK IN RIGHT SIDE OF THROAT AND SLOWLY DOWN DIFFICULTY OF SWALLOWING FEELING SPECIALLY IN DRY FOODS. Dry caugh, I ALSO HAVE LEFT VOCAL CORD POLYP 1/3 of the posterior ( But no voice change). ENT ENDOSCOPY DONE. (ONLY POLYP OTHERWISE NORMAL) UGI ENDOSCOPY DONE. Esophagus : LES 38cms, Hill grade III, Lax LES. Stomach : Superficial pan-gastritis with pyloric erosions. Duodenum – D1 : Normal visible mucosa. D2 : Normal visible mucosa. RUT : Taken - Report awaited. IMPRESSION :  Lax LES.  Gastritis.

Since you have LAX LES with high grade hiatus hernia (Hill's grade III), you likely have volume reflux, that's why you have been having symptoms of dry cough, dysphagia etc. Seeing from the information provided to me you have two options You can either take long term PPI (acid suppressing medications) or consult a surgeon for laparoscopic fundoplication
